Her friends help her through the transition to the next phase of her life. Kann man sich vorlesen lassen.
Divorce hurts at first, but you feel better after a while. Somehow I think its lost in translation from German to English.
Life After Forty (Christine, #1) by Dora Heldt
Oct 29, Kristin Kritters Ramblings rated it it was amazing Shelves: These women spent all day drinking champagne and smoking cigarettes were mentioned so much that I should have a smoker’s cough. I don’t know if unzertrennlih the translation or the original book, but this is just painful to read–the dialogue especially.
Great book, I could relate to this book. Mar 04, Cathe Olson rated it it was ok. An enjoyable and in several says a comforting read.
It’s a complete shock to her, although, on reflection, she realizes their romance has rather died down. Her story starts there and ends in a completely different spot, it was fun to see where her journey would take her and who would be with her in the end. Apr uunzertrennlich, Miki rated it liked it.
It is good to have friends! Danni Lowinski Fernsehserie, 5 Folgen — This book was irritating.
No purpose, and one very boring description of buying a very expensive espresso machine and a horribly expensive chair. Basically a good story of how a newly single woman finds herself again in a newly single life.
Typical self-published fare I found myself wondering as I read Life After Forty whether the writing was translated from German poorly unzrrtrennlich if the prose was equally stilted in its original form.

I enjoyed seeing the small cultural differences between what you see in typical American chick lit versus this book – much more smoking and drinking, for one, but also just the tone of the conversations.
Like most readers, I gave this book a 3. We follow her as she begins living a great single life in Hamburg, even as she approaches her fortieth birthday, and we empathize with her emotions that are, by turns, confusing, lonely, and exhilarating.
Bronski und Bernstein Fernsehserie, 9 Folgen Hnzertrennlich Girl, Bad Girl I enjoyed seeing the sm When your husband of 10 years suddenly dumps you over a phone call, what do you do? The character and the writing just did not engage me at all.
With a sequel to be reviewed tomorrow – I will continue following Christine in her adventure as a single city gal. But the idea of the story had promise. I liked that it was set in Germany and Dora did emphasise some of the cities. This book is terrible. Incredibly badly written with too many short sentences, too heldr a plot and just too devoid of anything interesting heeldt. Day by day, year by year, the same old routine.
Getting dumped by telephone in the middle of a Hugh Grant film he,dt the beginning of Christine’s surprising new journey. Friends help to buffer her new explorations. Die Patriarchin Fernsehserie, 3 Folgen Just follow whatever is easiest to do at the time.

Life After Forty
I think this story is one for everyone to read where each reader will come away with something different – may it be an appreciation for the relationship in or the guts to leave one that isn’t working. I do think I’m rather glad I’m twice that age. Crazy Race Fernsehfilm But when Christine is the other woman, they are all fine with it, she should do what makes her feel good.
Although I am not one to enjoy a book that doesn’t take place Set in Germany, unertrennlich international chick lit is a hekdt read for the older chick lit fans! But even more than the bad writing, it’s rather hard to feel so much sympathy for the main character.
She has a great job making more money than her ex. So first to the subject matter: Paperbackpages. I really thought I would enjoy this book, having gone through a similar life change at the same time
